Kingwood is a hardwood that originates from Brazil. Due to its high density Kingwood rates at a High level of difficulty to work with. Kingwood tends to blunt tools and it may be difficult to sand. Kingwood can be brought to an amazing finish that will reveal fine dark stripes and spectacular swirls.

Description
Primary side:
This is what we call a close 50-50. The paddle is about 50% white wood with a hint of yellow resonating from the kingwood pattern.
Secondary Side:
This side has a bit more white wood on the handle portion. Notice the color of the kingwood that is sandwiched between the handle.
